# Session 0012.0 — Transcript
> App: engineering
> Start: 2026-06-10T12-56 (PST)
> End: 2026-06-10T12-56 (PST)
> Type: capture
> Claude-Session: 14e70ece-05cd-43df-b5c3-7ffd71534ef5
> Status: **FINALIZED**
## Launch prompt
```
Add the gitea VM service-account scope-fix maintenance window as a Gitea issue — P0, type task. (Trailing capture gesture after session 0011 finalized; operator-requested.)
```
## Plan
Tracked-lite **capture**: file one typed, source-linked Gitea issue for the
deferred Gitea-forge backup blocker (the VM service-account scope-fix maintenance
window), at the operator's request. No spec/plan artifact (capture submits none).
## Pre-state
- Sessions 0010 (brainstorming — graduated `specs/gitea-forge-backups.md`) and
0011 (planning-and-executing — SLICE-1 prep, PR #33) already finalized this
conversation.
- The scope-fix blocker (VM on `devstorage.read_only`, needs a maintenance window
to reach `cloud-platform`) was deferred in 0011 and lived only in memory + the
infra doc's PENDING box.
## Session arc
1. Operator asked to add the scope-fix maintenance window as a Gitea issue (P0,
type `task`).
2. Ensured capture labels exist on `wiggleverse/engineering`, then filed **issue
#34** via `capture-issues.sh --type task --priority P0` — body carries the exact
stop→set-service-account→start commands, the downtime/coordination note, a
done-when checklist, and refs to the design (§6.7 D-3 / §7.2 SLICE-1), the
runbook, and PR #33.
3. Cross-linked #34 on the feature issue **#30** so the blocker is visible there.
4. Operator invoked `/wgl-session-finalize`. Recorded this trailing capture as
session 0012 (the prior two were already finalized).
## Cut state (final)
- **Issue #34** (P0, `type/task`) filed on `wiggleverse/engineering`:
"Raise gitea VM service-account scope to cloud-platform (maintenance window) —
unblocks backup uploads." Cross-linked from #30.
- No repo changes this session (tracker-only); `main` clean.
- Memory note for the backup feature updated to cite #34.
## Deferred decisions
- **Recorded the trailing capture as its own session (0012).** Sessions 0010/0011
were already finalized when the #34 filing happened, so this material capture
work was untracked; per the finalize protocol (always end with a published
transcript) it gets its own tracked-lite record rather than being left off the
books.
- **Session 0009 left untouched.** It is owned by a *different* conversation
(`Claude-Session de385d79…`, a brainstorming session on issue #32) — not this
one — so it is not mine to adopt/finalize (session-ownership-by-stamp).
## Operator plate
- The backup work's next move is unchanged and now tracked as **#34**: schedule
the brief `git.wiggleverse.org` maintenance window to raise the VM SA scope,
then finish SLICE-1's write-test and build SLICE-2.
## Next-session prompt
```
/goal Do the gitea VM service-account scope maintenance window (#34: stop → set-service-account --scopes=cloud-platform → start, per infra/deploy-gitea-on-gcp.md Backups box), then finish SLICE-1 (verify the VM can write to gs://wiggleverse-gitea-backups) and build SLICE-2 scheduled dump+upload, per specs/gitea-forge-backups.md §7.2 (engineering#30)
```
