# Session 0004.0 — Transcript
> App: makers-collective-demo
> Start: 2026-07-07T08-32 (PST)
> End: 2026-07-07T09-21 (PST)
> Type: brainstorming
> Posture: careful (held via blocking operator questions under a /goal launch)
> Claude-Session: b379acb5-e469-4d4e-be0f-7c521cb620b5
> Checkout: /Users/benstull/git/wiggleverse.org/wiggleverse/makers-collective-demo
> Anchor: none — operator directive 2026-07-07: this is a demo repo; never file Gitea tickets for it; iterate quickly and directly (explicit override of the issue-anchored rule, D2)
## Launch prompt
```
/goal Extend Hearth with first-class Entities (businesses, NGOs, co-ops, venues): brainstorm the concept into specs/hearth-platform-v1.md (business + product lenses) and iterate ui/designs/hearth-platform/index.html — key move: a product catalog belongs to a business Entity, and profiles attach it as a module (many people can feature one business's products), replacing the person-owned catalog. Redeploy the demo to hearth-demo.wiggleverse.org after.
```
(This was the `Next /goal:` recorded at session 0003's finalize — a stored-goal resume.)
## Pre-state
- `main` clean at 7503cd3; spec v0.1.1 (`status: proposed`); demo live at
https://hearth-demo.wiggleverse.org (deployed session 0003).
- Catalog model before this session: person-owned — the Professional profile
editor carried the Shopify connector and products (D17); "Business" existed
only as operators + dual attribution (D12/INV-8/F12).
- Tracker: only #1 (F1 passwordless auth). No roadmap/BDD repos; content repo
resolves to this same repo (single-repo app).
## Arc
1. **Init.** Classified the /goal as brainstorming; claimed session 0004
(careful posture). Step 8.5 found no anchor issue; operator directed:
**never file Gitea issues for this demo repo** — proceed unanchored
(saved to memory as `no-gitea-issues-demo-repo`).
2. **Design checkpoints (agreed before drafting):** D18 — all catalogs
entity-owned, solo sellers get one-minute one-person entities; D19 —
featuring by entity-granted tiered consent (operators always; open /
by-request / invite-only; orders route to the entity; carrier named);
D20 — demo scope = rework all catalog surfaces + one co-op example;
§6 minimal coherence touch-ups + tech-design flag.
3. **Spec v0.2.0 drafted** on branch `session-0004` (38f28ac): PP-9, BO-6,
BUC-9(+9a), PUC-15/16, personas (operator, Featurer), §2/§1.7 updates,
INV-8 extended (owner + carrier), §6.3 rows, §6.4 contracts, F6/F12,
PM-7, §12 row, Q11, D18D20, glossary.
4. **Prototype iterated** (b2139d9): Marsh Chairs / Okafor Stoneware / Raman
Textiles attribution; professional editor features entity catalogs;
Hexamer & Sons carried-by panel + request flow; new Pike & Salt Makers
Co-op view (one catalog, many carriers); About rewrite; registry modules
(catalog + Shopify sync at entity level); market lineup as the entity.
5. **Mid-session operator directive:** deploy to hearth-demo only at session
end or explicit ask; iterate on the Claude Design/artifact version first
(saved as `deploy-cadence-hearth-demo`). Review ran on the artifact:
https://claude.ai/code/artifact/69338c60-d943-4f7d-a4dc-778f381dd267
6. **Review round 1:** operator asked "where does one create or update a
business entity?" (real UX gap) and rejected the word "entity".
7. **Rename + management surfaces** (8a86a39): term becomes **Business**
(D21; types company/NGO/co-op/venue; OHM "non-human entity" citations
preserved); added "Your businesses" section on Your-profiles and the
"Manage: Marsh Chairs" editor (identity/type, operators, catalog +
connector, carry-approval flow with a worked approve example).
8. **Review rounds 24 (copy):** "Featuring grant" → plain language
(4d8aeaa), then operator's exact wording "Who can feature this catalog
on their profile" applied on both business pages + the manage editor
(2ea7eac); D19 records the UI-copy rule.
9. **Approved — shipped:** merged to `main` (a7ca774), pushed;
`scripts/publish-demo.sh` deployed and verified hearth-demo (sha256
match, HTTP 200); spec confirmed submitted with `status: proposed`
(idempotent — already on main); `session-0004` branch deleted (local +
remote); memory updated.
## Cut state
- `main` == `origin/main` at a7ca774; working tree clean; no open PRs;
no worktree (none was created).
- Spec v0.2.0 `status: proposed` on main — awaiting Ben's formal review.
- Demo live and verified at https://hearth-demo.wiggleverse.org.
- Artifact mirror current at the URL above (same file as main).
## Deferred decisions
No low-confidence autonomous calls — every consequential decision went through
a blocking operator question (anchor override, D18/D19/D20 checkpoints, naming,
manage-UX scope, copy wording, ship approval).
## Operator plate
- Formal review of spec v0.2.0 (`status: proposed` → graduate or amend).
- Q11: do business types beyond company need type-specific surfaces in v1?
- Still open from 0002: spec Q7 (repo rename vs re-home), OHM gap RFC
candidates (spec §13) for `ohm-content`.
## Next session
```
/goal Complete the Hearth SPEC's engineering lens for Businesses (tech-design session): biz/* contracts, CatalogFeature attach/revoke lifecycle, carry-permission model — per the §6 v0.2.0 note in specs/hearth-platform-v1.md
```
