App: dev-claude-plugin Start: 2026-06-11T13-58 (PST) · End: 2026-06-11T14-14 (PST) Type: planning-and-executing Claude-Session: 5117c651-6221-4135-b638-7e6c01da4740 Goal: implement #83 per the graduated per-type posture design Outcome: SHIPPED — #83 CLOSED. Engineering PR #53 (handbook §6.5 + digest) and plugin PR #119 (0.52.0,
Fixes #83) merged; pin made live at 0.52.0.
Launch prompt
Keep going: graduate + implement #83 per the graduated per-type posture design (content specs/2026-06-11-per-type-session-posture-design.md): SLICE-1 engineering handbook §6.5 amendment + digest, SLICE-2 claim-session-id.sh --posture stamp + tests, SLICE-3 gate/init/finalize rewiring in the plugin repo
Plan
Anchor: design specs/2026-06-11-per-type-session-posture-design.md (graduated; anchors #83)
Implement #83 (per-type session posture) per the graduated design, in this
conversation immediately after brainstorming session 0066 produced it (operator
chose "graduate + implement" when the /goal #83 Stop hook held the maximal
"shipped" reading). Three slices in dependency order: SLICE-1 the engineering
§6.5/digest amendment; SLICE-2 the --posture stamp + tests; SLICE-3 the
gate/init/mode/finalize rewiring + 0.52.0 bump. Full plan archived at content
plans/2026-06-11-issue-83-per-type-posture.md.
Pre-session state
- Same conversation as session 0066, which had just designed #83 and submitted
the spec
proposed; the operator reversed the "end here" call, explicitly graduated the spec (contentaab9137, header fix04450be), unblocking R2a. - Plugin
mainat c... 75ac458-lineage, version 0.51.0; pin live at 0.51.0. - Concurrent sessions: 0035/0048/0058 (stale-looking) + 0065 live (#102 design) → worktree isolation mandatory.
Turn-by-turn arc
- Init. Claimed 0067 (
--type planning-and-executing, start 13-58), seeded the Plan block + design anchor; baseline clean (only the pre-existing stray capture-mvp PDF); eligibility gate:check-issue-eligibility.sh --for implementation-plan --design …→ ELIGIBLE (R2a). Entered native worktreeworktree-issue-83-per-type-posture. - Plan. Grounded in the actual sources (claim script
--typeplumbing, test-harness conventions fromtest-session-id-ownership.shsection B, current 0.51.0 skill texts — notably #116's rewritten Step 9), wrote the six-task plan (superpowers:writing-plans), self-reviewed against the design's §4/§6.1. - SLICE-1 (engineering). §6.5 gained the per-type paragraph (defaults
table in prose, the
/goalhold rule, the named-override path) and the toggle paragraph now starts "at the per-type default above"; the digest'sautonomous-by-defaultbullet carries the per-type caveat. Branch → PR #53 → merged; local main synced, branch deleted. - SLICE-2 (TDD). New offline suite
test-posture-stamp.shwritten first (10 cases: derivation for the three current + legacy types and the no---typedefault; explicit--posture careful;yolo-overriderendering "yolo (named override)"; invalid-value fail-fast; line ordering) — failed as expected; implemented--postureinclaim-session-id.sh(validation, the type→posture map derived in the script — the ONE home, INV-1 — and the> Posture:line after> Type:); suite went 10/10; regressions stayed green (ownership 20/20, push-robustness 9/9, cleanup 8/8). SESSION-PROTOCOL.md claim section documents the stamp. (One slip: the protocol edit initially missed the commit — caught and amended intof933f1fbefore anything shipped.) - SLICE-3. Gate "Operating posture" block → per-type pointer +
/goalhold rule (stale blanket claim grep-verified gone); the three init skills stamp/explain + detect a named launch-prompt override (--posture yolo-override+ Deferred-decisions log) — brainstorming's Step-9 #116 named override is subsumed by the stamp;wgl-session-modereframed as toggling from a per-type starting point (frontmatter description updated too); finalize Step 0 reads> Posture:(stampless-legacy falls back to the type map) and the brainstorming addendum keys--statusoff the posture in force — careful →proposed, graduatedonly via the named override / explicit toggle / operator graduation. - Ship. README
wgl-session-moderow updated; version 0.51.0 → 0.52.0;scripts/lint.sh --check-bumpclean (shellcheck warn-skipped, not installed); full offline sweep green. Plugin PR #119 merged (Fixes #83→ issue CLOSED); merged content verified on origin/main; remote branch deleted; worktree torn down (the untracked plan copy was discarded only aftersubmit-plan.sharchived it to content244adef).update-plugin.shmade the pin live 0.51.0 → 0.52.0 (new sessions only — restart//clear).
Deferred decisions
- Inline execution over subagent-driven for the plan (same call session
0064 logged): the tasks are context-heavy skill-prose edits that lean on
the design + current-text nuances already in this conversation's context; a
fresh subagent per task would re-derive or miss them. Alternative not
taken:
superpowers:subagent-driven-development.
Cut state (end of session)
- #83 SHIPPED and CLOSED. Plugin main
c523cfe(0.52.0); engineering mainaa9c9a0(§6.5 amended); design graduated at contentspecs/2026-06-11-per-type-session-posture-design.md; plan archived at contentplans/2026-06-11-issue-83-per-type-posture.md. - Pin LIVE at 0.52.0 — running sessions (including this one) still load 0.48.0; NEW sessions get the per-type posture behavior.
- No deploy pipeline stage applies (plugin repo — docs/skills/scripts; no deployable UI app).
- Session 0065 still in flight (#102 design; content checkout on its branch —
untouched). Stray pre-existing
docs/superpowers/specs/2026-06-09-wgl-capture-mvp-design.pdfleft as-is again. Temp clone/tmp/wgl-0066-amend-14570left for the OS. - Worktrees torn down; local + remote feature branches deleted; trees clean.
What lands on the operator's plate
- Restart or
/clearto load 0.52.0 — the first session after that will actually exercise the per-type posture (a brainstorming/capture init will stamp> Posture: careful). - Nothing else for #83. The next queued design work is #93+#95 (below).
