Launch prompt

/goal We need the ability for businesses to join a Space. The scenario here is a business joins the Philadelphia Farmers Markets and is able to do certain things like say theyll be at a market on a certain day. A custom module in the Philadelphia Farmers Market space allows people to search for products in the context of an event (a specific day when a specific market will be operating), which will search across all businesses that are attending that market. An individual should be able to follow the business, the space, or interact in a read-only public mode with the space

Plan

Anchor: none — this repo runs unanchored by design (no Gitea issues; standing memory no-gitea-issues-demo-repo).

Brainstorming session: explore Businesses join Spaces (Philadelphia Farmers Markets scenario) and write its Solution-Design spec.

  • Business membership in a Space: a business joins the Philadelphia Farmers Markets space and can declare attendance at a market on a specific day.
  • A custom Space module: event-scoped product search — search products across all businesses attending a given market event (market × day).
  • Individual modes: follow a business, follow the space, or interact with the space read-only/public.

Flow: confirm framing → design-decision checkpoints (UX, schemas, module model) → draft full SPEC (no --lenses given → whole-document pass) in this repo's specs/ collection → whole-document review → finalize submits.

Progress

  • Framing + design checkpoints agreed with operator (AskUserQuestion rounds): D22 first-class BusinessMembership · D23 event-scoped search over full catalogs of attendees, packaged as the community-composed Market Finder module · D24 graded connection (visit → follow → join; root-level business follows) · D25 attendance gesture on both surfaces, one object; demo scope = vendors panel + apply affordance.
  • Spec accreted to v0.3.0 on branch session-0005 (PP-10, BUC-10/11/12, PUC-17/18/19, PM-8/TEL-8, §6 coherence rows, D22D25, Q12/Q13, glossary).
  • Prototype iterated: PFM vendors panel + apply, Market Finder (interactive, headless-smoke-tested), Manage-business ▸ Markets, follow-rung surfaces, feed item via business follow. JS syntax + Playwright smoke test clean.
  • Awaiting whole-document review (terminal gate for the draft).

Deferred decisions

Autonomous-mode low-confidence calls the driver made and would have liked operator input on. Appended as the session runs; surfaced at finalize. Empty if none.

  • Join walkthrough built without confirmation. At review, the operator asked "Where do I demonstrate how a business joins a Space?"; the follow-up question (narrated join vs. clickable walkthrough vs. + steward queue) timed out with no answer. Proceeded with the recommended middle option: an inline apply → pending → steward-admits walkthrough in the PFM Vendors panel, played with a demo stand-in business (Fern Hollow Mushrooms); D25's wording updated to match. The fuller steward-queue option remains available if wanted.
