Session 0026.0 — Transcript

App: ecomm Start: 2026-06-10T23-57 · End: 2026-06-11T07-42 (PST) Type: capture Claude-Session: 47368260-73cb-4a09-a77e-101a7944682b Goal: Re-size Products MVP (#12) Feature → Epic and file its child Features, at operator direction. Outcome: #12 re-typed type/epic (title/body rewritten, decomposition → children); #13/#14/#15 filed as type/feature (P1/P1/P2). All drafts deleted; content tree clean.

Launch prompt

Operator, continuing the conversation right after session 0025's finalize: "I think Products MVP should be an epic" — followed mid-work by the decomposition: "And Bulk import/export should be a feature, and product details read-only view should be a feature, and kits should be a feature".

Plan

  1. Claim a fresh tracked-lite capture transcript (0025 already published) — claimed 0026.
  2. File the three child Features first (so the Epic's decomposition can cite real numbers): bulk CSV import/export · product list + read-only detail · kits. Draft each per the §5 template in the content repo, file via capture-issues.sh, delete drafts (INV-8).
  3. Re-type #12: PATCH title + body to epic altitude (decomposition → - [ ] child-Feature checklist), label swap type/featuretype/epic (gitea-api.sh, issues-readwrite token — same post-filing-amendment precedent as session 0019's #1).
  4. Update memory; checkpoint this transcript; leave the session open for more capture work or an explicit finalize.

Pre-session state

  • Session 0025 (capture) finalized minutes earlier: #12 "Products MVP" filed as type/feature/priority/P1; its deferred-decisions list flagged the Feature-vs-Epic sizing as the call most worth operator review — the operator reviewed and re-sized.
  • Content repo clean; tracker labels exist; session 0024 still --INPROGRESS (non-contending — capture writes only the content repo).

Turn-by-turn arc

  1. Operator: #12 should be an Epic. Accepted — the 0025 sizing call is overridden by the operator's direct instruction.
  2. Claimed session 0026 (claim-session-id.sh --type capture).
  3. Operator named the decomposition (mid-work message): bulk import/export, product-details read-only view, and kits (new scope not in the 0025 ask) — each a Feature.
  4. Drafted + filed the three child Features (drafts in wiggleverse-ecomm-content/issues/, filed, then deleted per INV-8):
    • #13 — Products: bulk CSV import/export — the only data mechanism in the MVP (type/feature, priority/P1). wiggleverse/wiggleverse-ecomm#13
    • #14 — Products: list + read-only product detail view (type/feature, priority/P1). wiggleverse/wiggleverse-ecomm#14
    • #15 — Products: kits — bundled product groupings in the catalog (type/feature, priority/P2). wiggleverse/wiggleverse-ecomm#15 Each cites parent #12 and its siblings; each notes the §4.3 gate (own Solution Design before a plan).
  5. Re-typed #12 → Epic (PATCH 201, label PUT 200, verified by re-read): new title "Products MVP — product catalog: list + read-only detail, bulk CSV import/export, kits"; body rewritten at epic altitude — kits added to Summary/personas/value/acceptance/scope, acceptance lifted to outcome level, gate line now epic→Features, Decomposition = - [ ] #13/#14/#15, Source/signal records the 0026 re-size at operator direction.
  6. Memory updated (project_ecomm_clean.md 0025 entry merged into a 0025+0026 entry; MEMORY.md index refreshed). Content tree clean.
  7. Checkpoint published; session left open across an overnight gap (other sessions — 0024 continuation, 0028 — ran meanwhile and advanced memory/PPE; none contended with this session's surfaces).
  8. Finalize (2026-06-11 07:42): survey found both repos clean and even with origin, zero leftover drafts, no worktree. No git operations; memory already carries the 0025/0026 capture facts (updated by the later sessions) and the Next /goal: slot (SLICE-4 prod stand-up) was left untouched. Transcript finalized and published (this file).

Deferred decisions

Autonomous-mode low-confidence calls the driver made and would have liked operator input on. Appended as the session runs; surfaced at finalize. Empty if none.

  • Kits captured thin. "Kits" arrived as one word; #15 frames the business need (bundled offerings must survive migration/representation) but deliberately leaves kit semantics (pricing, inventory, nesting) as open design questions, and provisionally priorities it P2 behind the two foundational siblings. If kits are nearer-term (e.g. the target migration catalogs are kit-heavy), raise to P1 and/or amend #15's framing.
  • #14 scoped as list + detail together. The operator's words were "product details read-only view should be a feature"; the list and the navigation to detail were kept in the same Feature (#14) since a detail view with no list to reach it isn't independently valuable. Split if the intent was separate Features.
  • Feature numbering/linking is plain-text (#13/#14/#15 + parent #12) — Gitea task-list checkboxes in #12's Decomposition; no formal issue-dependency edges were set (the tracker's blocked-by API wasn't part of the capture scripts).

Cut state (end of session)

Surface State
Gitea wiggleverse/wiggleverse-ecomm #12 re-typed type/epic (title/body rewritten, decomposition → children); #13/#14/#15 filed as type/feature (P1/P1/P2)
Content repo clean on main; all three drafts deleted after filing
App repo untouched (main @ 8a2ec24)
Memory 0025+0026 merged entry; Next /goal: unchanged (SLICE-4)

What lands on the operator's plate

  • Skim the deferred decisions above — kits' P2 + open semantics, and the list+detail bundling in #14, are the two calls most worth a look.
  • Each of #13/#14/#15 needs a brainstorming session → Solution Design before a plan (§4.3). #12 as an Epic is no longer a valid brainstorming anchor (R1) — anchor on a child Feature.

Prompt the operator can paste into the next session

The stored Next /goal: (memory) is the active build thread — SLICE-4 prod stand-up under market.wiggleverse.org, closing Feature #1:

/goal next

Or to start the Products epic's design work instead (anchor on a child Feature — #12 as an Epic is not a valid brainstorming anchor, R1):

/wgl-brainstorming develop the Solution Design for Feature #13 (Products: bulk CSV import/export — the only data mechanism in the MVP), anchored on https://git.wiggleverse.org/wiggleverse/wiggleverse-ecomm/issues/13
