Launch prompt
/wgl-capture — Amend handbook §9/§10 to codify the Phase-1 rollout story:
slices merge to main and deploy to PPE continuously (autonomous, including
yolo); every PPE deploy stamps a release tag on the deployed ref; the human
validates PPE at their own cadence and promotes a validated tag to prod — prod
promotion is the single human gate and is never autonomous in Phase 1, even
though PPE may have moved past it. Codify fix-forward (no reverts on main for
failed PPE validation — prod was never exposed) and the done-vs-shipped
distinction (ticket closes at merge+PPE-green; "shipped" is a tag-level fact).
Plan
Capture session (tracked-lite): turn the operator's fully-specified ask into
one typed, source-linked Gitea issue on wiggleverse/engineering.
- Claim transcript 0019 (
--type capture). Peek showed live in-flight sessions 0009/0017/0018; capture only writes unstaged drafts inissues/, so a non-overlapping slug was used instead of worktree isolation. - Resolve app → engineering is its own content repo; drafts in
issues/. - Step 2.5: no unfiled drafts to resume.
- Size-challenge: one ask, a single obvious doc increment needing no design →
type/story,priority/P1(WSJF ≈ 5.5 — the §6.5ק9 ambiguity is live risk for autonomous sessions). - Draft
issues/phase-1-rollout-story.md(full §5 template, value check applied), file viacapture-issues.sh, delete the draft (INV-8).
Turn-by-turn arc
- Claimed 0019; resolved content repo; no resumable drafts.
- Grounded the ask against handbook §9 (pipeline) and §10 (rollout mechanics): §9's "prod gated only on green PPE" + §6.5's autonomous "deploy" together leave autonomous prod promotion textually licensed — the gap the ask closes.
- Authored the draft in one pass (story = terse leaf profile; operator not present mid-session), value check green: pain = live ambiguity + hand-policing cost, not "doc missing".
- Ensured labels (all existed). Filed as engineering#43:
wiggleverse/engineering#43
(
type/story,priority/P1). - Deleted the filed draft;
issues/clean, no stragglers.
Second ask (same session): stand up the §9 two-tier E2E gate machinery (hermetic localhost harness per merge + same suite on PPE per deploy), child of #26.
- Verified #26 is the open
type/epic"Engineering-practice uplift" (P2) → sized this ask as its childtype/feature(Epic→Feature, one level). - Grounded against handbook §10.3 (two-tier testing) and §9; kept business sections mechanism-free (Docker Compose / Mailpit / Playwright / SQLite confined to Solution notes, with the recommended slicing — Tier 1 first, not blocked on PPE).
- Filed as engineering#44:
wiggleverse/engineering#44
(
type/feature,priority/P1; body links Parent #26, relates #43). - Deleted the filed draft;
issues/clean.
Deferred decisions
- Self-approved the draft before filing (INV-1) under yolo posture. The
operator launched
/wgl-capturewith a fully-specified ask and was not present mid-session to review the draft blocks; per §6.5 autonomous-by-default ("create/approve … without pausing") I treated the opening prompt as the approval and filed engineering#43 without a per-block review pause. If the issue body misses the intent, edit #43 directly — Gitea is the system of record. - Typed it
type/storyrather thantype/task. Judgment call: a handbook policy codification has independent business value (it changes how every autonomous session behaves), so story over task; it needs no design, so not a feature. - Self-approved #44 under yolo as well (same INV-1 rationale as #43: fully-specified slash-command ask, operator not present mid-session).
- Captured #44 as one Feature rather than splitting Tier 1 / Tier 2 into two. The operator framed the two tiers as one machinery ask and §10.3 treats them as one suite with two targets; the Tier-1-first ordering is preserved as recommended slicing in Solution notes. Split later at design time if it proves too big.
- Parent link to #26 is body-prose only ("Parent: #26" in
