Session 0070.0 — Transcript

App: dev-claude-plugin Start: 2026-06-11T23-48 (PST) Type: planning-and-executing Posture: yolo Claude-Session: 1e0caa5d-2b15-4218-946a-0ac83195d926 Status: FINALIZED. Outcome: graduated the design-handoff Solution Design (v1.0.0) and shipped SLICE-1 (the central-docs **Design:** field convention, engineering PR #57).

Launch prompt

/goal next → resolved from memory to: graduate + plan-and-execute the design-handoff spec (SLICE-1 first; needs graduation/R2a).

Plan

Anchor: design specs/2026-06-11-design-handoff-design.md (content repo) — anchors wiggleverse-dev-claude-plugin#95 (primary) + #93 (co-anchor).

Resume of session 0069's design (wgl-design-handoff). This session:

  1. Graduate the spec — operator's recorded /goal next intent says "graduate"; 0069 submitted it proposed. Stamp status:graduated (frontmatter + in-doc Status cell), v0.1.0→v1.0.0, changelog row, re-submit via submit-spec.sh. Confirm R2a eligibility.
  2. Write the JIT plan (all 5 slices; execution focus SLICE-1).
  3. Execute SLICE-1 — the central engineering GUIDE/TEMPLATE per-UX-slice **Design:** convention (doc-first; #93 doc half). Then continue into the plugin slices (2→5) as the session allows.

Concurrency: live concurrent sessions 0065 (content repo on its branch) + 0068 at claim; 0035/0048/0058 are long-stale placeholders. SLICE-1 mutates the engineering repo and graduation pushes to content via submit-spec's own clone → isolate in worktrees per §5.4.

Deferred decisions

Progress

Graduated the design-handoff Solution Design (R2a). Per the operator's recorded /goal next intent ("graduate + plan-and-execute"), stamped status:graduated (frontmatter + in-doc Status cell), bumped v0.1.0→v1.0.0, and added a changelog row, re-submitting via submit-spec.sh to content main. The eligibility gate confirms ELIGIBLE … (R2a). Gotcha: the first submit-spec.sh run defaulted --name to my temp source basename, creating a stray duplicate specs/design-handoff-spec.md alongside the canonical specs/2026-06-11-design-handoff-design.md. Fixed: re-ran with the correct --name, then removed the duplicate via content PR #5 (squash-merged).

Wrote the SLICE-1 JIT plandocs/superpowers/plans/2026-06-11-design-handoff-slice-1.md. Per the engineering GUIDE §7.1 one-slice-one-session convention, the plan covers SLICE-1 only; the SLICE-2→5 roadmap is carried from the spec for context (each its own future JIT session).

Shipped SLICE-1 — the per-UX-slice **Design:** field convention in the central engineering docs (solution-design/GUIDE.md §7.2 + TEMPLATE.md), value pending | path under *-content/ui/designs/<issue#>-<slug>/ | N/A — no UI surface; claude-design-vs-code.md untouched. Engineering PR #57 (squash-merged); convention verified live on engineering origin/main. Ran in an isolated engineering worktree (session-0070-design-field), torn down post-merge, branch deleted. This completes the #93 doc half (the backfill half lands in SLICE-4 — #93 stays open).

Next: SLICE-2 (storage + unpack/normalize + commit → PUC-1 home step) — plugin repo, its own JIT session.

Deferred decisions

Autonomous-mode low-confidence calls the driver made and would have liked operator input on. Appended as the session runs; surfaced at finalize.

  • Graduated the spec on the strength of the recorded /goal next intent. Session 0069 deliberately submitted it proposed (not graduated); the operator did not re-confirm graduation live this session. Treated the recorded next-goal ("graduate …") as the operator's instruction. Reversible (re-submit proposed).
  • Plan-history copy archived to content plans/ only (canonical), no standalone plugin-repo PR. SLICE-1 touched only the engineering repo, so there was no plugin PR to carry the plan-history copy; spinning a standalone plugin PR purely for a secondary copy was judged unwarranted ceremony mid-concurrency. The canonical archive (content plans/) is written at finalize.
  • No plugin-repo worktree. Confirmed-live concurrent same-app session 0065 is in the content repo (on its own branch), not the plugin checkout; 0035/0048/ 0058 are long-stale; 0068's status unknown but the plugin checkout was clean on main. SLICE-1's mutations were isolated in an engineering worktree; no substantive plugin-checkout writes were made. Judged low-contention (precedent: sessions 0051/0062).

Session arc (turn-by-turn)

  1. Opened with /goal next; the session gate resolved the stored Next /goal: from memory → "graduate + plan-and-execute the design-handoff spec (SLICE-1 first)"; classified planning-and-executing → wgl-planning-and-executing.
  2. Claimed session 0070 (posture yolo). Peek showed in-flight 0035/0048/0058 (stale) + 0065 (live, content repo) + 0068 (unknown). Baseline clean on main@0.52.0.
  3. Read the spec; confirmed R2a only requires the design file to exist; graduated the spec via submit-spec.sh (the --name gotcha + content PR #5 cleanup).
  4. Wrote the SLICE-1 JIT plan (one-slice-one-session per GUIDE §7.1).
  5. Executed SLICE-1 in an isolated engineering worktree: GUIDE §7.2 + TEMPLATE.md **Design:** field → engineering PR #57 (squash-merged); verified live; worktree torn down.
  6. Finalize: archived the plan to content plans/; no plugin bump / no version gap → make-live skipped; commented progress on #95; updated memory + Next /goal → SLICE-2; published this transcript.

Cut state / next session

  • Landed: design-handoff spec graduated (content main); SLICE-1 live on engineering origin/main; plan archived to content plans/.
  • Open: #95/#93 remain open (the flow is not fully built); #93's backfill half is SLICE-4. Remaining slices 2→5 are in the graduated spec §7.2.
  • Next move: /goal next resolves to SLICE-2 (storage + unpack/normalize + commit → home step; plugin repo; depends on SLICE-1 ✓).
